Ashni Balakrishnan

Ashni is an undergraduate student in Engineering Science at the University of Toronto, majoring in Biomedical Systems Engineering. Her thesis uses computer vision to analyze surgical videos and support intraoperative decision‐making. Leveraging AI to model complex medical datasets, she aims to optimize clinical workflows and generate data-driven insights for decision support, diagnostics, and digital health.
