Christopher Lucasius

Hi there! I grew up in the Greater Toronto Area where I completed my postsecondary studies in robotics engineering at the University of Toronto. My Master’s thesis was on predicting infantile spasms using electroencephalogram signals as inputs to a biologically inspired machine learning model. My PhD focuses on the development of multimodal machine learning pipelines for the prediction of depression relapse in adolescents using non-invasive measures from wearable technologies, survey responses, video interviews, and medical records. I have always been interested in using artificial intelligence to aid in neurological and psychiatric disorders, and I am grateful to have this amazing opportunity work on such a significant project that is close to my heart.

Apart from research, I enjoy teaching, travelling to new places, and staying active.
