Christopher Lucasius

Hi! I grew up in the Greater Toronto Area where I completed my postsecondary studies in engineering at the University of Toronto. My Master’s thesis was on predicting infantile spasms using electroencephalogram signals as inputs to a machine learning pipeline. My PhD will focus on detecting and predicting relapse in adolescent depression using non-invasive measures from smartphone sensors, video/audio signals, and medical records. I have always been interested in using artificial intelligence to aid in neurological and psychiatric disorders, and I am grateful to have this amazing opportunity work on such a significant project.

Apart from research, I enjoy teaching, travelling, and spending time with friends/family.
