Martiya Zare Jahromi

Martiya Zare Jahormi is a Ph.D. candidate in the Electrical & Computer Engineering department at the University of Toronto. His academic background is a combination of software engineering and machine learning, as he received the BASc in software engineering and MASc in Artificial Intelligence in 2014 and 2018, respectively. Martiya’s current thesis focuses on the security enhancement of power transformer differential protection using reconstruction-based anomaly detection models. His research interest lies in the area of cyber-physical security, anomaly detection, and trustworthy machine learning.
